John kept me apprised each step along the way of the status of his sales effort, when we received multiple offers he walked me through the options in detail. After selecting a buyer we had some difficulty with the appraisal. John met with the appraiser and was able to negotiate an increase to better match the offer price. He also worked with the buyers and got them to agree to pay well above the appraisal.
This effort was exceptional. In my experience agents are anxious to close the deal quickly and not worry about payout to the seller. Not the case here. The house was listed on February 13 and escrow closed on March 26.
